For more information, please visit our website: http://www.grifols.com   Purpose & Responsibilities of Position: The Environmental Compliance Intern will have the opportunity to learn more about how the Environmental Compliance team ties into and supports its manufacturing practice to support environmental data analysis, regulatory compliance, and report preparation

Requirements

  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Compliance, Permitting/Sustainability, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a scientific field (Biology/Chemistry preferred), OR currently accepted or enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program
  • Candidate must currently have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Familiarity/comfort with Excel, including working with Macros and pivot tables; Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate reports and documents for regulatory submittal
  • Update environmental plans and procedures
  • Maintain environmental databases and follow up on discrepancies
  • Summarize Environmental Performance Metrics
  • Administer waste management programs, including periodic inspections
  • Projects assigned by the Environmental Manager
  • Communicate data discoveries and analysis in impactful presentations.
  • Work cross-functionally to collaborate with area subject matter experts to improve business processes.
