About The Position

As part of the Entertainment Department, the Intern will assist in the success of the gameday experience in a variety of ways. Both on gameday and non-gamedays they will be responsible for a variety of entertainment aspects including home game activations, Street Team events and assisting with the various tasks and preparation for the Entertainment Office. The Milwaukee Brewers Entertainment Intern will also represent the Brewers in our community, supporting experiences throughout Milwaukee at local festivals, events, and mascot appearances.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will currently be enrolled or a recent graduate from an accredited college or university pursuing a Business Administration, Communications, Sports Marketing/Administration, or Marketing degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver’s license and MBBC satisfactory driving record are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate correspondence and coordination of entertainment groups involved with the game day experience (Color Guard, National Anthems, Clowns, DJ, etc.)
  • Act as a lead stage manager for the on-field pregame show.
  • Maintain department databases/equipment/storage facilities
  • Assist with the scheduling and execution of weekend performances, theme nights and all game day activities and promotions
  • Assist with Game Crew, Ball Attendant, 4-1-Force and Brew Crew auditions/try-outs
  • Support the ideation and development of in-game elements, features, and promotions
  • Monitor both industry and culturally-relevant trends that could be used to improve and enhance our in-game entertainment
  • Assist in the supervision of the Milwaukee Brewers entertainment teams on gamedays and non-gamedays
  • Set up the UScellular Power Playground for all Brewers home games
  • Assist in the gathering of all scoreboard content for a variety of departments
  • Help coordinate concourse activities, contests, and mascot involved events
  • Partner with the Brewers Street Team and Mascots to represent the Club at public, private and community events
  • Help coordinate Milwaukee Brewers mascots through booking appearances, escorting mascots, doing laundry and in-game skits.
