The Intern, Enterprise Cybersecurity will be introduced to enterprise-level security practices, data protection strategies, and compliance frameworks. They will support initiatives aimed at safeguarding sensitive organizational data, maintaining regulatory compliance, and strengthening the company's overall cybersecurity posture. This role is designed to help aspiring cybersecurity professionals start building foundational skills by engaging with real-world challenges and learning in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Cybersecurity policies and controls.
  • Analyze security alerts and assist in incident response activities related to data leakage or policy violations.
  • Participate in risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Aid in evaluating Gen AI use cases for security and policy alignment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data governance and protection workflows.
  • Present data and analysis in a clear and concise manner.
  • Respond to emails, calls, in-person inquiries and requests.
  • Participate in meetings, capture notes and publish action items, and follow-up on next steps
  • Interface with Security Ops, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), and IT Teams
  • Escalate issues as needed.
  • Other assignments and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Completion of foundational coursework in cybersecurity, networking, or information assurance is preferred.
  • Academic projects, personal labs, or participation in cybersecurity clubs, competitions, or bootcamps are a plus.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles (e.g., confidentiality, integrity, availability).
  • Awareness of data protection concepts such as encryption, access control, and phishing.
  • Awareness of Cybersecurity Framework NIST, ISO 27001 / 27002
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Available for a full-time paid internship in June to August 2026
  • Local to Fountain Valley, CA (no relocation or housing will be offered)
  • Must be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the internship
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
  • Compensation: $25.00/Hour
