Our Summer Internship Program is built for students who want real experience, real ownership, and real impact. From day one, interns work on meaningful business projects that support teams across our Support Centers in New York City and Atlanta. You’ll collaborate with leaders, partner across functions, and see firsthand how ideas turn into action at a fast-growing, guest-focused company. In addition to project work, interns participate in a structured cohort experience designed to provide exposure to our culture, our operations, and the people who make Shake Shack special. Program Details: Program Dates: June 9 – August 4 (8 weeks, 32 hours per week) Pay: $25/hour Work Model: Hybrid (Monday remote, Tuesday–Thursday in person) Eligibility: Rising college juniors and seniors Location: New York City Support Center Project Title: Enterprise Architecture Strategy & Systems Planning Support The intern will support the Enterprise Architecture team in aligning business strategy with technology solutions while gaining hands-on experience across enterprise technology planning, application architecture, and digital transformation initiatives. This role provides exposure to how technology decisions are made at an organizational level and how systems, platforms, and business needs connect to support long-term growth. Program Experience: Throughout the summer, interns will take part in a series of cohort experiences designed to complement their project work and provide exposure to the broader business. Program experiences include: Intern Orientation & Cohort Kickoff Intern Mixers and networking events Shack visit & operational shadowing experience Leadership conversations with senior leaders Development workshops focused on leadership and communication skills Cross-functional cohort programming and collaboration Final project presentation & graduation event
