The ERCOT Internship Program allows college students the opportunity to develop their skills in a technical and high-paced, professional work environment. Interns receive assignments and projects that aim to solve real challenges facing the electric industry. The internship program also allows students to experience working alongside ERCOT employees and being part of a team. Throughout the internship, ERCOT leaders are able to evaluate each individual interns' capabilities and compatibility with ERCOT's mission, vision and values.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer and Electrical Engineering, or Economics.
  • Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with building software and coding in C#, Java, or Python.
  • Familiarity with database querying using SQL.
  • Experience with power systems analysis.
