About The Position

General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) has an immediate opening for an Engineering Intern. This position offers an opportunity to apply classroom-learned skills to programs supporting the defense of the country. GDMS employees collaborate closely with customers to develop solutions for high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various technical projects aligned with the core mission. Requirements

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology
Enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
Preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher in the degree program
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire (preferred at time of hire)
Meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
U.S. citizenship is required
