About The Position

Supporting the design, implementation, and testing of modern web‑based applications and services for Department of Defense (DoD) C6ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) initiatives Contributing to full‑stack development projects, creating user‑friendly interfaces, and helping integrate back end services that enable secure data exchange and decision‑support capabilities across a variety of DoD platforms FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-TF1

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s program in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience (academic projects, coursework, or personal work) with: JavaScript/TypeScript React (or other modern front‑end frameworks) Node.js (Express or similar)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (or equivalent) and completion of at least two years of relevant coursework
  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP
  • U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and consumption
  • Basic understanding of version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows (GitHub/GitLab)
  • Exposure to database concepts (SQL or NoSQL) and cloud services (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and an interest in DoD cyber‑security standardsStrong problem‑solving abilities and willingness to learn new technologies quickly
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team‑oriented environment
  • Prior internship or project experience in full‑stack development is a plus
