About The Position

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is a non-profit, bipartisan public policy organization established in 1962 to provide strategic insights and practical policy solutions to decisionmakers concerned with global security and prosperity. The CSIS Energy Security and Climate Change Program provides information and analysis to improve energy security, address global climate change, and alleviate energy poverty and environmental injustice. We consistently provide high quality public education, strategic insights, and policy solutions by examining issues at the intersection of geopolitics, policy, markets, and technology. Continuing its collaboration with leaders in government, industry, academia, and civil society, the CSIS Energy Security and Climate Change Program develops events and projects designed to help decisionmakers craft smart energy policies that balance economic, environmental, and security priorities. Experience or specific knowledge about the energy sector and climate policy are not required, but candidates with a demonstrated interest in the fields are preferred. The hired candidate will be paid hourly, commensurate with experience ($17.50/hour for current undergraduate hires, $18.50/hour for hires with a bachelor's degree, and $19.50/hour for hires with a master's degree).
