This position is based in Las Vegas at our Integration campus in Henderson, within the Advanced Engineering (AE) Group. The AE Group is responsible for researching and implementing the use of advanced technology to bolster new features in gaming cabinets and systems. They develop proof of concept models, working prototypes and will present the concepts to potential stakeholders for an opportunity to be used in future products. If you're passionate about developing new ideas and exploring innovative tools while collaborating with talented individuals, this internship is a perfect opportunity. The internship lasts 10 weeks and will start in early June and end in Mid-August. Candidates will be required to prepare and submit a project report at the end of the 10 weeks. The internship offers a flat per hour stipend capped at 40 hrs. per week and does not offer any other benefits or allowances. Candidates will be required to arrange housing and transport.

  • Engage in a 10-week fulltime onsite internship at the Las Vegas Integration center 'The Outback'
  • Assist engineering staff in various engineering tasks such as developing prototypes and proof of concept models
  • Create new concepts that would benefit or create new feature sets within the gaming machine
  • Learn to use various CAD tools to create schematics and develop printed circuit boards
  • Hands-on troubleshooting issues encountered during the developing prototype
  • Use programming tools to control proof on concepts models
  • Present on innovative ideas and concepts to team and summer internship experience at end of 10 weeks
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or Physics, entering a Junior or Senior Year
  • Must be 21 years of age by June 2, 2025
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and other basic computer usage skills
  • Possess Electronics aptitude and ability to tinker with Electronics devices from a troubleshooting perspective
  • Proficient in soldering
  • Hands-on experience in CAD tools (e.g. Altium Designer). However, proficiency is not required
  • Hands-on experience working with C, C#, JavaScript, .NET, however proficiency is not required
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flat per hour stipend capped at 40 hrs. per week
