Requirements

  • Must have completed 90 credits towards Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, and currently enrolled to complete desired degree.
  • Technical knowledge of power supply products a plus.
  • Desire to work in an engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of drafting tools and practices, schematic capture software, and power supply circuitry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Windows applications required.
  • AutoCAD skills desired.

  • Self-motivated, and possess a high degree of curiosity and desire to learn new things.
  • Ability to take initiative and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Solve medium complex engineering problems throughout the many phases of engineering project work.
  • Assist in the fabrication and evaluation of major units of equipment or prototypes.
  • Perform varied work assignments involving evaluation and product processing under general supervision.
  • Build prototype circuitry.
  • Test and debug to component level.
  • Write test procedures.
  • Perform and clearly document an engineering evaluation on products, specifications and internal requirements.
  • Address design problems on production hardware.
  • Document schematics using schematic capture software.
  • Write programs for microprocessors and components; Write programs for Automated Test systems; Write publishable quality test reports demonstrating product performance.
