Requirements

  • Working towards engineering / technical degree, and currently enrolled to complete desired degree
  • Desire to work in engineering environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Windows applications
  • Knowledge of VHDL
  • Linux knowledge is a plus
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, and possess a high degree of curiosity and desire to learn new things
  • Ability to take initiative and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design of various engineering projects, involving analysis, research, design, development, fabrication and/or testing of a product.
  • Work with engineers to facilitate the design of complex digital systems using FPGA's, digital hardware and embedded software.
  • Help in all aspects of the design, including schematic entry, writing VHDL Test Benches for FPGA simulations, and hardware and software integration.
  • Perform necessary tasks as directed by the senior engineer while obtaining a greater understanding of digital circuit design techniques.

  • Full-time schedules for Summer internships (40 hour week).
