About The Position

This internship position at Linde Engineering North America LLC offers an opportunity to work alongside the electrical engineering team, focusing on the development of electrical power distribution systems for large industrial applications. Interns will gain hands-on experience with power calculations, studies, and various electrical equipment, while also fostering vendor relationships and utilizing advanced software tools in a multi-discipline environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with colleagues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the electrical engineering team to develop electrical power distribution systems for large industrial applications.
• Learn power calculations and studies for electrical power systems using ETAP and/or SKM.
• Conduct load flow, voltage drop, motor starting, short circuit studies, relay coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Learn about protective relays and other software related to electrical engineering.
• Foster vendor relationships, including quoting, drawing review, and bid evaluations.
• Work with Smart Plant 3D software and be exposed to a multi-discipline environment.
