About The Position

Production Electrical Operations: Work with the Electrical Team at Yancey Engineered Solutions to develop trade skills and seek technical improvements within the electrical team. Develop a standardized label solution for panel labels, wiring labels, and other unit labels utilizing on site label printer automation. Learn and become proficient with electrical schematics to further identify gaps and improvements to pass to the design engineering team. Evaluate and identify areas for improvement in our electrical test quality gate, identify repeat issues that delay successful testing and work with Quality & Electrical to mitigate them. Production Assembly Operations: Work with the Assembly Team at Yancey Engineered Solutions to develop trade skills and seek efficiency gains within production operations. Develop a standardized label solution for common unit labeling. Establish a production kit review process to audit kits once received from Supply Chain team, identifying gaps and eliminating missing parts before they impact production operations. Evaluate and identify areas for improvement in our final assembly quality gate. Identify areas of repeat failures and found issues, work with assembly to establish processes to eliminate those issues.
