About The Position
Dominion Energy is seeking three interns to join the Virginia finance organization, which is part of the CFO organization supporting the largest regulated utility operating in Virginia and North Carolina. The interns will have the opportunity to work in various finance segments, including Electric Transmission finance, Power Generation finance, Generation Riders (new construction), DEV Consolidation/Data Metrics, or Electric Distribution finance. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in financial analytics and operational activities, allowing interns to contribute to process enhancements and reporting improvements. Throughout the summer, interns will engage in a variety of tasks that may include assisting with the development of operational and maintenance (O&M) and capital forecasts and budgets, performing scenario and sensitivity analyses for capital expenditures, and participating in strategic discussions with operational and corporate stakeholders. Additionally, interns will be expected to complete ad hoc duties as requested by their supervisors. All positions will be based out of the Thomas Ferrell building located at 600 Canal. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field. The successful candidates will gain valuable experience in the finance sector while contributing to the mission of Dominion Energy to provide reliable and clean energy to its customers.
