About The Position

Legendary Entertainment is a leading media company with film (Legendary Pictures), television and digital (Legendary Television and Digital Media) and comics (Legendary Comics) divisions dedicated to owning, producing, and delivering content to worldwide audiences. Our part-time, paid internship program provides hands-on experience in a dynamic, innovative environment within the entertainment industry. Interns can work up to 29 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments. Participants will engage in real projects, gaining practical industry insights while developing professional skills through workshops and career-building sessions. The program also features guest speaker events with industry experts, networking opportunities with professionals and fellow interns, and exclusive perks such as company outings, team-building activities, and access to film and media screenings.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (Fall/Spring) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months.
  • A GPA of 3.5 or above is highly preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Social media savvy - particularly Tik Tok, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Stays current with influencers and online culture.
  • Awareness of film/TV marketing and what stands out.
  • Fluency in content creation a major plus.
  • Interest in analytics a plus.
  • Must be able to work in our Burbank office 29 hours a week.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research on the current landscape and social trends.
  • Source influencers for potential collaboration opportunities on future releases.
  • Help develop digital marketing activations for upcoming projects.
  • Assist in social media strategic planning, as well as platform monitoring and recaps.
  • Assistance with promotions including fan outreach, on the ground support, managing giveaways, etc.
  • Help create a roadmap for marketing research/analysis to be used for future projects.
  • Active participation and note taking in group brainstorm sessions.
