ASPIRE is a structured, mentorship‑rich program with HR‑led learning workshops that is concluded by interns presenting their final projects to a Forescout leadership panel.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree related to Computer Science / Engineering, Software Engineering, and/or Data Science
  • Experience with Python programming and experience with general programming techniques, tools and processes
  • Fundamental understanding of Azure AI, data analytics, JSON and log formats
  • Strong analytical and communication skills – the ability to reason through problems, develop solutions, and clearly explain analytical processes and findings to leadership and stakeholders
  • Eagerness to learn and initiative to seek feedback — A proactive attitude towards learning new tools and processes and collaboration with the team to find smarter, faster ways to work.
  • At minimum, you must have completed your third year of college, university, or an equivalent trade or technical school
  • Eligible interns must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher; an official transcript is required for your application.
  • This internship is in-office / hybrid. You must be currently located within a commutable distance or have the ability to temporarily relocate to Plano, TX at your own expense.
  • You must be available for the full duration of the 10-week program.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with or knowledge of using AI for workflows is beneficial
  • Basic understanding of conducting a data analysis on a large data set is beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an Azure AI–powered framework to automate exploratory data analysis (EDA) and schema profiling for third-party log sources.
  • Develop an AI-assisted data model mapping engine that intelligently maps raw log fields to Unified Data Model, reducing manual mapping effort and improving onboarding efficiency.
  • Build a semi-automated Loggify parser generation workflow using AI-generated mappings to accelerate parser development and ensure ingestion accuracy.
  • Integrate EDA, field mapping, and parser automation into a unified end-to-end workflow, delivering measurable reductions in data onboarding time.
  • Deliver a reusable, production-ready automation toolkit with documentation, validation processes, and a final demonstration showcasing efficiency improvements and scalability.
