About The Position

Data Reporting Analyst Internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in data analytics. This role will support the analysis of product and application data by creating visualizations, dashboards, and custom reports while collaborating closely with product, engineering, data analytics, and quality assurance teams to gather reporting requirements, understand data structures, and establish reliable reporting within HealthStream’s Data & Analytics Platform. This internship provides hands‑on experience working with product/application data and business intelligence tools, helping you develop practical analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to investigate and help resolve data or reporting issues
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain data insights
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and ask questions
• Team‑oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies

Nice To Haves

• Python experience is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting techniques
• Exposure to business intelligence and data visualization tools
• Basic understanding of data concepts and data structures
• Familiarity with ETL processes is a plus
