  • Debugging computer code to correct errors and improve performance.
  • Problem solving and solution creation.
  • Participating in peer code reviews to improve the quality of code written by team members.
  • Proactively learning about new technologies.
  • Regular communication and troubleshooting with team members.
  • Reviewing documentation about the latest technology releases and project updates to ensure understanding of system operations.
  • Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship.
  • Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA.
  • Junior or Senior classification preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required.
  • 1-2 years of experience with programming languages (Java/C++/Python) preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience with Version Control Systems (GitHub, VSA, SVN) preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
