About The Position

We are seeking to fill an Intern - Quality Engineering role for Summer 2026 at our Huntsville, AL location. After orientation and training, interns will perform entry-level engineering tasks on rocket propulsion projects. Interns will support senior engineering staff and gain experience and familiarization with company projects. Interns must be able to operate effectively in a team environment. Summer internships will start in approximately May/June and end in August/September. This internship will familiarize the candidate with the manufacturing floor making the connection between design requirements and manufacturing capability. The intern will support senior engineering staff and gain experience and familiarization with company quality practices, manufacturing, and programs. Tasks will vary but may include assisting technical staff in providing adequate methods to meet quality requirements, providing root cause and corrective actions, meeting delivery and performance targets, and supporting engineers in the design and development of products and processes to improve production.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a B.S. degree program or higher in Industrial Technology, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, or General Engineering.
• Consideration for other majors such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.
• Must be returning to school upon completion of the assignment.
