About The Position

We’re looking for a motivated Cybersecurity Intern to join our IT Security team. This internship is designed to give hands-on experience in protecting critical systems, identifying potential threats, and supporting the overall security posture of the organization. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to real-world cybersecurity tools, processes, and incident response activities.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles (network security, risk management, etc.)
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

Experience with security tools or scripting (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review network device configurations to identify security gaps and recommend hardening improvements.
Assist in developing a perimeter security audit dashboard to detect misconfigurations, unused firewall rules, and device configuration drift.
Monitor cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies and provided recommendations to improve security processes and controls.
Support cross-functional cybersecurity projects, team initiatives, and operational requirements.
Contribute to departmental goals by promoting the mission and continuous improvement of the Cybersecurity program.
