Intern - Corporate Sustainability
About The Position

Summary Micron's corporate sustainability team leads sustainability strategy and the integration of environmental and social issues into Micron's functions and culture, as well as engagement with internal and external stakeholders on sustainability issues. As an intern working with the team, you will play an important role in several projects to enhance Micron's sustainability efforts, while gaining exposure to a range of team members and functions that contribute to Micron's sustainability performance.
Requirements
- Pursuing a graduate degree in business, sustainability, engineering, human rights or environmental discipline
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and with distributed teams
- Ability to work on-site with team members in San Jose, CA Mondays-Thursdays during the summer
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience or coursework in sustainability reporting
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to balance workload across 3+ concurrent projects
Responsibilities
- Analyzing evolving customer, investor, and government sustainability expectations
- Responding to requests for information about corporate sustainability issues
- Supporting internal or industry collaborations to advance sustainability
- Assessing emerging regulations on sustainability reporting and contribute to the roadmap for compliance
- Identifying opportunities to implement AI tools to increase project efficiencies
