About The Position

Become a part of our diverse culture of learning, development, and mentorship as an Intern - Corporate Environmental and Sustainability (EHS) in Summer 2026. Your education is just the beginning - you'll become an active member of our Corporate Environmental and Sustainability (EHS&S) team, reporting to the Director, Corporate Environmental located in Pittsburgh, PA. During our 12-week internship program, you'll tackle real-world challenges through impactful assignments and work alongside our industry changemakers.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program with a major in Environmental Management, EHS, Sustainable Business, or Engineering with an expected graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated internship, work, or research participation experience.
  • Strong data analysis skills, internet research savviness, and business case development skills.
  • Involved with at least 1 extracurricular activity (inclusive of campus organizations, sports, or volunteerism).
  • Interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist corporate environmental compliance and sustainability strategists support manufacturing operations in driving improvements in waste, water, air toxics, climate resiliency, and biodiversity performance.
  • Analyze data, identify potential solutions, and share best practices.
  • Potential project areas include identifying and supporting zero waste/circular economy opportunities, organizing the environmental SharePoint site, tracking customer sustainability-related requests, launching an environmental performance recognition program, benchmarking research on environmental improvement topics, or calculating global water loading.
  • Document and present the process, solutions, and financial business case for the selected primary project to management at the close of the 12-week program.
  • Partner with experienced environmental and sustainability professionals and representatives from other functions in designing circular economy and environmental performance improvement strategies.

Benefits

  • A relocation stipend in the amount of $3,000 will be provided to students located 50+ miles from the physical location of the internship.
