About The Position

The Intern in Corporate Development will support the Corporate Development team with market research and analysis of potential M&A opportunities, partnerships, and new business ventures. The intern will assist in the preparation of financial models, presentations, and reports for senior management and executives. This role involves contributing to strategic initiatives by analyzing industry trends, competitor landscapes, and business growth opportunities. The intern will help conduct due diligence on potential acquisition targets or strategic partners and assist in the evaluation and creation of business plans, pitch decks, and other strategic documents. Additionally, the intern will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Operations, to facilitate corporate development projects and support the execution of corporate transactions by providing administrative and operational support. Tracking and monitoring industry news and updates relevant to corporate development strategies and assisting with preparing reports and presentations for board meetings and executive reviews are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, with a major in Finance.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • A basic understanding of corporate development activities, such as M&A, strategic partnerships, and market research.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to use Excel and PowerPoint at a high level.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
