About The Position

The Tallgrass Corporate Development group conducts financial analysis on projects, acquisitions, competitors and financing activities. As an intern, you will conduct financial and other analyses for potential projects and acquisitions, conduct market research and analysis in support of corporate and business initiatives, and prepare and present analysis to leaders across the company. You will learn financial modeling and analytical skills, the fundamentals for preparing and briefing an analytical presentation, and the practical application of how market fundamentals and economics impact and drive the company's decision making.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of economics and finance.
• Desire to work hard and learn about the energy industry and corporate finance.
• Student actively enrolled in an approved Bachelor degree program with expected graduation date of December 2024 through December 2028.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• Familiar with conducting financial analysis in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiar with reading and understanding quarterly and annual financial reports and financial statements.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
