Main responsibilities: The Corporate Development (Corp Dev) team is seeking talented students who have completed their first year of MBA school to join our Summer Associate Program. The Albertsons Companies Summer Associate Program offers candidates hands on exposure to multiple areas within the company. The position is compensated at a rate of $40 per hour. Exposure to various workstreams within the company, including: Mergers and Acquisitions Venture Investing Strategy Customer Analytics Merchandising In-store Technology Real Estate Digital/E-commerce Associates will have the opportunity to conduct research, present findings, work directly with ACI Corp Dev team members, and learn what it takes to support one of the top 10 retailers and one of the largest retail employers in the United States. As an Intern, you will: Conduct research on issues impacting grocery, pharmacy, and technology companies. Prepare materials for and present findings associated with research assignments. Work on special projects as assigned including mergers and acquisitions. Attend Corp Dev team meetings, Albertsons presentations, and other events. Respond to day-to-day questions. Perform other duties as assigned. We are looking for candidates who possess the following: Completed first year of MBA school in good standing. Highly responsive, well-organized, and deadline-driven. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong financial acumen. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams). Comfortable working both in an office and remote environment.
