About The Position
The Intern Coordinator - Summer Youth Employment Program will work directly with Nature Center staff members and seasonal youth interns. Starting in June, the Coordinator will support and co-facilitate a youth conservation program with a Nature Center staff member. The Summer Youth Employment Program is a grant provided by the Michigan Department of Nature Resources that funds organizations to implement a youth internship program. The Intern Coordinator will support, both publicly and privately, the principles of the Detroit Zoological Society. The Intern Coordinator will maintain a professional manner when dealing with all constituencies and always preserve a high level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
