Compensation Range Hourly: $20.00 - $20.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.) About This Job Consumer Marketing’s role is to attract consumer audiences and introduce them to our brand to aid in consideration and familiarity of Commerce Bank with the ultimate goal to acquire new households to Commerce. Once they become customers then we continued to educate and make them aware of products and services to help expand and retain their relationship. This position is a great opportunity to not only learn about our brand but also a great way to learn about Marketing Strategy & Execution utilizing a variety of owned and paid media channels targeting specific consumer audiences. The summer internship session will begin on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, and will run for 11 weeks, ending on Friday, July 31, 2026. Internships are paid, full-time opportunities with a Monday through Friday work schedule. *Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Proactive in finding ways to assist team members
  • Ability to ask questions, offer solutions, retain information, and apply details to future situations
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook
  • Basic level proficiency with AI tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Associate degree/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the consumer marketing team’s use of AI and recommend how to integrate it into our processes
  • Assist in coordinating and implement assigned tasks for a variety of programs
  • Assist in planning and executing digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, generating leads, and driving conversions
  • Assist in results reporting and analysis for paid digital and email campaigns
  • Collaborate and learn from third party partners and gain understanding of strategic direction, results and analysis
  • Research of competition marketing strategy on digital or product insights as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
