As a Program Management Intern within the Construction Trades Sourcing category team, you will support the translation and execution of Micron's Global Procurement (GP) strategic objectives into actionable program roadmaps that deliver measurable benefits for the organization. You will focus on standing up operating rhythms and deliverables across construction trade labor capabilities such as workforce development, trade labor union engagement, trade labor attraction, relations & retention, or industry presence & community partnerships. You will collaborate with team members to drive improved cost, scale and, cycle time to optimize category performance. By assisting with project management tasks, you will contribute to the achievement of GP strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil or Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations, Project Management, or Business Administration, and graduating after August 2026.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, manage multiple workstreams, and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; willingness to learn basic Power BI or SharePoint for dashboards/trackers.
  • Interest in the construction ecosystem (owners, GCs, trades/unions) and in workforce development programs (e.g., apprenticeships).

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of program metrics and key indicators to achieve program goals.
  • Collaborate on projects and programs to ensure all goals are met within budget, timeline, and scope constraints for Construction Trades Sourcing initiatives.
  • Assist in reporting project status, managing risks, and implementing solutions for successful project execution (including simple trackers/dashboards in Excel/Power BI/SharePoint as needed).
  • Support communication and adoption activities for new processes or program changes by preparing clear materials and helping coordinate with cross-functional partners (HR Workforce Development, Procurement, Construction, and external contacts).
  • Assist in implementing strategies to develop positive relationships with stakeholders, enabling a competitive advantage and achieving program and project objectives.
  • Assist in coordinating activities and communications to maintain strong stakeholder relationships (prepare agendas/briefs, capture meeting notes and actions, support steward cadences, roundtables, and industry forums).
