Yazaki is looking for a motivated Summer Intern - Computer Engineer to join our SBU Engineering team in Canton, Michigan. Requirements

  • Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period.
  • Degree/experience related to the position (Computer Engineer).
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 11, 2026, and August 14, 2026
  • Database Management.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • To support the Stellantis BU in consolidating and streamlining Bill of Materials (BOM) data across multiple vehicle programs and systems.
  • The intern will assist in developing automation tools to merge, validate, and analyze BOM data from various sources, reducing manual effort and improving data accuracy.
  • This initiative will enhance engineering efficiency, minimize duplication, and ensure consistent part and supplier information across platforms.
  • Develop the Power BI dashboard for the Latest SBU Engineering BOM.
  • Work closely with the IT team, PDE team, and SBU Engineering management team.
