Intern - Computational Chemistry

NeomorphSan Diego, CA
Onsite

About The Position

Neomorph is a science-driven biotechnology company focused on advancing targeted protein degradation therapies. We’re passionate about discovery, collaboration, and translating innovative research into impactful medicines. Interns at Neomorph work alongside experienced scientists and professionals, gaining real-world experience while contributing to meaningful projects. We are seeking a curious intern to join our team for the summer. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to real-time projects, develop technical and analytical skills, and gain insight into the biotech industry. Interns will have exposure to Neomorph’s mission, values, and collaborative culture. Neomorph is seeking a summer intern to join the Chemistry department this summer, to work closely with Neomorph computational chemists to apply molecular dynamics (MD)-based tools designed to analyze protein systems, modify or develop scripts to automate data processing and output quantifiable metrics for molecular glue design, document procedures, code, and results to ensure reproducibility, and present methodologies and results to the team at the end of the term. Through this summer internship , the intern will gain hands-on experience in computational chemistry techniques , including molecular dynamics and workflow automation, in a n industry setting.
