Summary : The TekniPlex Corporate Development team is seeking a summer intern prepared to assist with executing a Global Job Structure project and supporting the year-end process. Your responsibilities will include project management and coordination, performing job evaluations and employee mapping, and analyzing data around pay equity, data integrity, and more. During your 8 to 10 weeks in this role, you will actively participate in building policies and training materials for the Global Compensation team. You’ll bring your knowledge of technology solutions to creating new tools for HR and managers to use in making compensation decisions.

Requirements

  • Current pursuit of a full-time undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or similar
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to share ideas and process improvements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Acute attention to detail with strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, comfortable programming and editing large workbooks. Power Query is a plus.
  • Ability to create professional presentations in PowerPoint to translate data into executive-level summaries.
  • Strong motivation and work ethic, the ability to work independently, the ability to balance multiple projects and competing deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform market data job evaluations on new positions proposed by hiring managers and the HR team
  • Create slide decks and training materials for the Global Job Structure roll-out
  • Supporting weekly objectives in the project plan, including gathering feedback from global teams, updating the Compensation SharePoint site, keeping materials updated, and coordinating meetings when needed.
  • Manage a year-end (merit) process at a global company, as well as how to administer it using Payscale.
  • Partner in creating and facilitating training for managers and HR during preparation for the year-end (merit) process
  • Organize and submit compensation survey data, as well as manage this on a global level
