About The Position

The Trust Company intern will be exposed to our various departments (Financial Planning, Institutional, Private Client, Private Banking, Portfolio Management) by working directly with key members from each group. Throughout the summer, the intern will attend the weekly/monthly meetings of each department. Rotations through each department within Trust. The rotation will consist of an introduction to the department and that team. Sit in on internal team meetings, shadow and/or receive one-on-one time with team members to get a better understanding of their job responsibilities, help with any requests or small projects that team has, and if appropriate attend client meetings. Be involved with a few key projects that they will work closely with the departments assigning them. Assist, as needed, with any general support within the Trust Company which could include: preparing presentations/books for meetings, prospect spreadsheet assistance/research, mass mailings, support for events, etc. The summer internship session will begin on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, and will run for 11 weeks, ending on Friday, July 31, 2026. Internships are paid, full-time opportunities with a Monday through Friday work schedule.

Requirements

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • High School Diploma.
  • Sophomore or Junior progression towards a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
