About The Position

Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Eikon’s discovery platform is built on groundbreaking innovations from its founders (Nobel Prize, 2014), culminating in the creation of microscopes which enable real time, molecular-resolution measurements of protein movement in living cells, thereby unlocking otherwise intractable classes of proteins as drug targets. Position This 10-week summer internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the CMC Drug Substance function in a collaborative, fast-paced drug development environment. The CMC Drug Substance Intern will support process development activities that enable the manufacturing and characterization of drug substance materials for clinical development. In this role, you will gain exposure to drug substance process development workflows, including compound and impurity synthesis, purification, analytical characterization, and technical documentation. This internship is designed to provide experience working alongside process development scientists to support program advancement and manufacturing readiness. About You You are passionate about organic chemistry and interested in applying synthetic chemistry skills to pharmaceutical drug development. You enjoy solving complex chemistry problems through laboratory experimentation and are motivated to learn how chemical processes are optimized for clinical manufacturing. You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to gain experience in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
