Position Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic college student to join our Clinical Pharmacology team as an intern. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of pharmaceutical research and development, specifically focusing on clinical pharmacology. The intern will work closely with our team of professionals to support various aspects of clinical pharmacology including clinical/translational research projects.

Requirements

• In a Bachelor's degree program, rising junior or senior in a relevant scientific field (e.g., pharmacology, pharmacy, biochemistry, biology, or related discipline).
• Strong academic background with coursework in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics (PK), biochemistry, molecular/cellular biology, genetics/genomics, or related areas preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze scientific data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a laboratory or research setting (particularly pharmacology, PK, biochemistry, molecular/cellular biology, or clinical/translational research) is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in literature review and research to support clinical/translational research projects.
• Collect, organize, and analyze pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) data from clinical trials.
• Apply critical thinking to integrate what has been published in the literature with PK and PD data from clinical trials to provide study team with dose optimization guidance.
• Contribute to the preparation of presentations and scientific publications.
• Attend team meetings, training sessions, and other departmental activities as required.
• Adhere to all relevant regulatory guidelines, protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
