Position Summary The intern will contribute to key projects within the Clinical Immunology team, focusing on improving consistency and supporting immunological research. This role offers hands-on experience with laboratory techniques and data analysis, as well as exposure to cross-functional collaboration. The intern will focus on the following projects Project 1: Compare the parameters and performance of analytical lab instruments (e.g. fluorescent cell counter) between two lab locations to ensure alignment within an acceptable range for downstream analytical T cell assay testing. Project 2: Perform cytokine testing on supernatant samples collected from T cell assays to support immunological understanding of AAV. The intern will receive comprehensive training on both cell counting and supernatant testing before executing these projects. At the end of the program, the intern will present findings and recommendations to the Clinical Immunology team. This work will help standardize processes across sites and provide valuable insights into immune responses, contributing to the advancement of clinical programs. The intern will report to a Scientist on the Clinical Immunology team. This position is based at the RTP site.
