Requirements

  • Junior or Senior undergrad or graduate students
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • A proactive team player who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous internship/work experience preferred
  • A strong demonstrated interest in HR specialties such as HR compliance, learning and development, benefits, and organizational development.
  • Academic leadership or extra-curricular activity involvement preferred
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply multiple HR disciplines, including employment law compliance, and multi state regulations including HR topics such as leave of absence, time off including paid sick and safe leave, wage and hour guidelines and employee relations matters.
  • Ability to create engaging, learner-focused programs using proven methodologies.
  • Strong facilitation skills to deliver impactful training in virtual settings.
  • Experience with LMS platforms, eLearning tools, and emerging training design technologies.
  • Skill in aligning learning initiatives with client needs, researching and gathering information and influencing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Client Support & Research: Assist Client HR Consultants in preparing for client interactions and responding to client and colleague inquiries by conducting research on best practices, compliance information, and industry-specific HR trends.
  • HR Solutions Development: Support the customization and delivery of core HR solutions, which may include reviewing draft policies, job descriptions, or HR compliance resources and knowledge articles.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Aid in the collection and analysis of client-specific data (e.g., employee metrics, engagement survey results) to help identify trends and inform consulting strategies.
  • Process Documentation: Assist in documenting internal processes and client engagement protocols to ensure consistency and efficiency in service delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal TriNet teams (e.g., Benefits, Payroll, Learning & Development) to ensure comprehensive and integrated client service.
  • Organizational Development Consulting; Support client projects including information intake, analysis and drafting of client deliverables,
  • Learning & Development Consulting: Collaborate and contribute to in-progress projects. Research: New learning trends, tools, and technologies to enhance learning and development programs.
  • Support the design and delivery of training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules.
  • Professional Development: Benefit from dedicated mentorship with seasoned HR professionals, gaining a deeper understanding of the PEO model and the role of an HR consultant.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
