About The Position

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our design team, play a consultative role, and actively support our field marketing team to establish and build relationships with civil engineering clients while contributing to our commercial objectives. About the Role: As an Engineering Intern at Contech Engineered Solutions, your responsibilities will include:
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program, Civil preferred.
- Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, database management software, and basic CAD.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Project Solutions: Collaborate with department design engineers to present project-specific solutions to clients. Provide quality designs and advice to secure and integrate our products on site plans.
- Design Assistance: Assist in the creation of engineering designs and plans under the supervision of senior engineers. Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and timely project completion.
- Project Support: Provide support for submittals, production, and product delivery.
- Site Visits: May conduct site visits to assess project progress and quality.
- Engineering Standards: Maintain engineering standards and procedures.
