As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in analyzing, maintaining, and enhancing an enterprise data warehouse and develop a reporting platform supporting underwriting, finance, and claims teams across the globe. Requirements

• College concentration in one of the STEM disciplines or prior experience in an Information Technology role.
• A passion for learning with demonstrated technical talent, problem solving skills, and keen attention to detail.
• Beginner’s knowledge of SQL and Python with familiarity of data warehousing and data pipelines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong focus, attention to detail and accuracy.
• A basic understanding and interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and contribute to project and operational work under the guidance of experienced IT professionals.
• Leverage programming, project management, or analytics and data skills in identified projects.
• Learn about IT processes and how they support the Insurance Life Cycle.
• Gain experience in teamwork to deliver flexible, responsive solutions to customers.

Benefits

• Paid internship for 12 weeks.
• Base salary range of $25/hour - $28/hour, determined by relevant skills and experience.
