BioLegend's Summer Internship Program offers aspiring biotech professionals a meaningful, comprehensive understanding of the biotechnology industry sector at one of the world's leading producers of antibodies and reagent content development. This hands-on internship will give you the chance to develop your skills, collaborate with industry experts, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, research-driven environment. BioLegend interns are known for their passion, creativity, and ability to make meaningful contributions to the company. The program will run Late May or Mid June (depending on individual's University Academic Calendar). All selected interns will be required to obtain their own housing, travel, and transportation accommodations for the full duration of the internship program.

Requirements

  • Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing various bottling related tasks to include dispensing antibody solutions, capping and labeling of vials, tubes or bottles, and assembly of kits.
  • Formulate products per approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Verify formulation worksheets to ensure that information such as concentrations, lot numbers etc. are correct.
  • Put away finished goods products according to their designated temperature conditions.
  • Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Set-up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations.
  • Operate computer-controlled process support/process equipment (i.e., filling line, lyophilizer, capping, labeling machine, etc.).
  • Follow instructions for completion of job tasks.
  • Adhere to correct procedures, policies and health/safety guidelines.
  • Clean and maintain work area and all lab equipment and supplies.
  • May perform data entry and production documentation completion tasks.
  • Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
