About The Position

BioLegend's 10-12-week summer internship program offers aspiring biotech professionals a meaningful, comprehensive understanding of the biotechnology industry sector at one of the world's leading producers of antibodies and reagent content development. This hands-on internship will give you the chance to develop your skills, collaborate with industry experts, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, research-driven environment. BioLegend interns are known for their passion, creativity, and ability to make meaningful contributions to the company. The program will run May 19 - September 30 (depending on individual's University Academic Calendar). All selected interns will be required to obtain their own housing, travel, and transportation accommodations for the full duration of the internship program. Requirements

  • High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
  • Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pipetting or dispensing liquid products.
  • Experience with hazardous and/or biological materials.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all BSL2 safety policies, correct procedures, dress code and health/safety guidelines.
  • Follow line clearance policies to avoid cross contamination, mix-ups or incorrect items bottled.
  • Perform kit assembly processes and pouching processes.
  • Perform various bottling related tasks to include dispensing antibody solutions, capping and labeling of vials, tubes or bottles.
  • Verify materials and documents to ensure information such as concentrations, lots number etc. are correct.
  • Ability to perform simple Math calculations.
  • Put away finished good products in their designated temperature conditions.
  • Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Set-up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations.
  • Operate computer-controlled process support/process equipment (i.e., filling line, lyophilizer, capping, labeling machines, etc.).
  • Correctly follow SOP instructions for completion of job tasks.
  • Clean and maintain work area and all lab equipment and supplies, adhering to 5S guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate training record and ensure on time completion of training documents.
  • Follow all GDP policies.
  • Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.
