About The Position

Kulicke and Soffa is looking for a Mechanical R&D intern to assist in the development of a high speed motion system for Robotic semiconductor assembly. While at Kulicke and Soffa you will: • Use broad knowledge of technology or basic engineering and its application to assist engineering groups in the development of new and innovative solutions to our customer’s requests • Develop solutions to challenging problems that require some analytical computation, simulation, or design • Assist in lab testing engineering prototypes, using accelerometers, laser vibrometers, oscilloscopes, etc. • Draw conclusions and insight from collected data using fundamental static and dynamic principles • Gather technical data, and documents, organize and prepare it for evaluation • Interface with the fabricators, vendors, purchasing, and designers on prototype ordering and sourcing • Design parts using CAD, prepare material for design review presentations, and complete drawings using GD&T • Other duties as assigned
