About The Position

The Aviation Management intern at Delta Professional Services (DPS) will assist in achieving divisional goals and contribute to the overall success of DPS. Interns will work with specific teams, gaining experience in various departments while being based on-site at Delta's World Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. This paid internship offers additional privileges such as standby travel within the Delta system during off-duty hours.

Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 18 years of age with authorization to work in the United States.
• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
• Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles.
• Prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
• Demonstrate privacy when handling personal data.
• Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to process complicated issues quickly.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple project requests.
• Internally motivated, curious, and eager to learn.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, Forms, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
• Competency in data collection and analysis, reading and summarizing regulations, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in other departments including Account Services, Comms & Engagement, ATP CTP, Sourcing & Pipeline, and Flight Operations.
