Requirements

  • Current Juniors in Bachelor's Program.
  • Must be an active student for the entire length of internship.
  • At least 1 year of work experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Passionate about automotive.

Responsibilities

  • Gain practical experience in the Fixed Operations-Parts Department, Service-Operations Department, and the Eastern Region-Parts & Service Department.
  • Support customer satisfaction, service owner retention, and retailer revenue generation.
  • Learn from Parts and Accessories team managers about tools, systems, and strategies for quality customer-retailer relationships.
  • Understand the distribution allocation process and regional needs.
  • Participate in market development and learn about Subaru financial statements.
  • Explore regional marketing strategies that differentiate Subaru retailers.
  • Learn about the onsite Service Engineering Center and the Retailer Claims process.
  • Visit a Subaru Retailer and Regional Distribution Center.
