This internship is designed for current college students, undergraduate or graduate, seeking a career in commercial real estate. Participation in the program is intended to provide a well-rounded knowledge of the commercial real estate business and valuable skills, earned by working alongside dedicated professionals in the largest and most successful global commercial real estate services firm. The internship accelerates your learning and development by providing you with a strong foundation upon which to build your commercial real estate sales career. The program provides you with an outstanding perspective on our coordinated service lines. As a program participant, you will also partake in learning and development activities designed especially for you.

  • Assist in monitoring a portfolio of loans; perform monthly financial statement analysis and review of 3rd party inspections.
  • Track market and submarket performance and forecasts for assigned cities.
  • Track major loan events such as interest-only expiration, hedge expirations, loan maturity; analyze potential impacts on performance.
  • Provide customer service support to assigned loan producers and clients. Work with loan servicing company to meet client needs and requests.
  • Assist in preparing various monthly and quarterly portfolio reports.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Current college sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate level student.
  • Desire to work in the commercial real estate industry.
  • Experience with MS Office with intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to network and interact professionally with internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
