Support customer design-in activities including answering customer technical questions, schematic & layout reviews, and customer board debug. Develop technical collateral including product datasheets, reference designs, user guides, application notes, etc. Perform bench characterization for new products. Create go-to-market technical collateral including evaluation boards, reference design schematics, application notes and design tools for new products. Work cross-functionally with product marketing, product management, and chip design teams in supporting customers Support product marketing and management to collect product and application requirements in the related area, by communicating with customers and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
  • Prefer academic experience in the field of power electronics.
  • Familiar with discrete semiconductor characteristics and operations. (MOSFET, BJT, diodes).
  • Lab experience with using digital oscilloscopes, function generators, curve tracers, and network analyzers for testing, debugging, and characterizing electronic components.
  • Experience in using schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout tools.
  • Effectively multi-tasking, managing priorities, solving technical problems independently and completing project deliverables on time.
  • Well-organized, self-driven, good written and verbal communication skills, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3).

  • The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $19.00 - $28.00.
