As an Analog Engineer at Plexus Engineering Solutions, you will be an integral part of a global team dedicated to designing and developing electrical hardware for a diverse range of industries. You will work closely with talented professionals from various disciplines, including software, mechanical, quality, manufacturing, and test engineering. Your contributions will span all phases of the product development life cycle, from initial ideas and conceptualization through to requirements gathering, design, development, and finally transitioning products to manufacturing and market launch. In this position, you will be responsible for designing electrical hardware, which includes power supplies, control systems, and instrumentation tailored for applications in medical, aerospace, defense, and commercial sectors. You will utilize schematic capture tools to guide printed circuit board layout and analyze circuit designs using simulation tools such as SPICE and finite element analysis. Hands-on experience is crucial, as you will troubleshoot and bring up prototype hardware in the lab, taking detailed measurements of analog hardware with standard electrical measurement tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers. This data will be essential for assessing circuit performance and informing design improvements. Collaboration is key in this role. You will work as part of a team with other engineers to review and enhance hardware designs, receiving expert mentorship and guidance from experienced hardware engineers.
