About The Position
The AI Engineering Intern will work on a team of AI engineers building tools and systems that operate on complex healthcare data. You will gain experience working on real AI projects from both a technical and practical perspective. In this role, you will contribute to ongoing work and build hands-on experience with modern AI tooling, data workflows, and applied machine learning. You will also work with product, business, and clinical team members to understand how the systems you help build are used in practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree program (in progress or completed)
- Have taken an AI/ML class
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts (training, validation, evaluation metrics)
- Exposure to LLMs
- Experience with Git or another version control system
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity
Responsibilities
- Contribute to AI/ML projects on complex clinical data workflows
- Assist with model experimentation, evaluation, and analysis
- Collaborate with AI engineers, product partners, business stakeholders, and clinical team members to clarify requirements and deliver incremental improvements
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices (testing, documentation, version control)
