About The Position

The Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the cultural sector. This program cultivates the next generation of leaders by offering hands-on work opportunities and access to professionals across the arts and culture field. Interns placed in the Advancement & Innovation (A&I) department will support fundraising efforts across donor engagement, communications, and stewardship. Interns gain access to: Meaningful in-person work experience in the arts and culture sector Professional development workshops focused on career readiness A vibrant community of peers and program alumni A Conversation Series featuring leaders across Lincoln Center Access to special events that reflect Lincoln Center’s mission as the world’s leading performing arts center

Requirements

  • A rising college junior or senior, or equivalent
  • Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area
  • Available to work in-person on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 35 hours per week from June–August 2026
  • Available Wednesday afternoons to participate in internship program workshops
  • Interested in learning about fundraising, nonprofit management, or donor engagement
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong writing and communication skills
  • Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic about working collaboratively with team members
  • Willing to be onsite and participate in in-person team projects and meetings
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced cultural setting
