Seagate Technology is seeking advanced signal processing and/or embedded systems engineers for its Hardware Engineering Servo group in the Minnesota Design Centers. This is a technical position with broad responsibility to work with mentors in the group to develop advanced embedded features to meet the high-density tracking and reliability requirements of hard disk drives that serve the cloud market. Develop, test and integrate algorithms for servo pattern writing. Get general exposure to other aspects of disk drive servo operation like controls, vibration mitigation and seeking. Maintain and develop tools and processes for design and validation of algorithms, compliance to requirements metrics, and compatibility with other components. This is a highly collaborative position requiring strong communication and technical leadership skills.
