We are looking for a Junior or Senior undergraduate student to help bridge the gap between mechanical engineering and data science. Our Additive Manufacturing (AM) programs generates and receive valuable data in "messy" formats (PDFs, Excel logs, images). Your role will be to build the digital tools that turn this unstructured information into a clean, usable datasets for our engineering team. Learning Objectives: • Hands-on experience solving real-world "messy data" problems in an engineering environment. • Gain exposure to additive manufacturing technologies and their applications. • Develop proficiency in the management and critical analysis of manufacturing data. • Enhance skills in data visualization and communication. • Learn about the standardization processes and how data science can contribute to setting industry standards.
